DWUW didn't get a radio deal and is a follow up to a lead, so it makes a big difference.Less than 10% of pop stations have added DWUW so far. Essentailly, even though Gaga has confiremd it as a follow up, to radio Applause is still the current single. Nick 29 Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Wow I'm just so happy DWUW was chosen last minute instead of Venus HOWEVER, I'm not dismissing it entirely because we have yet to hear the chorus. If we had heard the first verse of APPLAUSE prior to the actual release, we would have been having MELTDOWNS. The pre-chorus and chorus are what saved that entire song. The bottom line is that DWUW is definitely the better choice. If Venus is good too, save it for later. I just hope she DOESN'T release a video for it prematurely.. save it for the actual release.
