Do What You Want is something new for her. People want something different. If she kept doing the same thing over and over, she'd be in the same boat as Ke$ha and soon to be Katy Abdul. You got a point there and yeah Kesha is a great example to that. I am afraid that same might happen to Katy. The evolution of Gaga is what have made people loved her, not her weirdness. Judging by the snippet I don't think most people would like it. ikr!! i dont know what happens on people's minds really lol. Just look at those covers. lol. I'm scared to know what the X Factor performance will be like. I generally like Gaga's Venus-esque "weird" songs, but DWUW is more my cup of tea. I imagine many of Gaga's non-gay fans are attracted to her weirdness, but her gay fans don't necessarily go for that. Maybe it isn't a good choice for a second single for the same reason that Aura isn't but as a song it's better in my opinion (from the snippet of course). I like that everyone has a different opinion and I don't judge anyone but comment like the song shouldn't make the final cut are not true. The song isn't even near a filler...
