I suppose it is because of good reviews - interest by the R&B community etc. It can't be because of the itunes performance because that only reflects the ARTPOP preorders, not the choice of promo single. What is written on the GGD main page "due to massive digital success" is nonsense because if you take away the preorders what remains is not that great. the preorders are from fans who would have bought the single.
