It's an old tradition of watching a movie on a wide big screen with crazy loud sound. Most people don't have an IMAX 3D in their house/apartment. So they'll have to pay for the ticket anyway. People who just wanna see the movie often can't find an HQ movie in internet till a DVD/Bluray is released. So if they wanna watch the movie as soon as possible they will alsoo have to pay for the cinema ticket. People often read reviews before the cinema when it's just a way of spending the evening and they don't really care what to watch. 2) With music, it's very different. If you are interested in an album, you can go to YouTube/Spotify and listen to all the tracks online and then decide: to buy or not to buy. Music is also an experience, but it's a long duration experience. People listen to songs multiple times, while they don't usually watch movies on repeat. And they can always illegally download the album once it's released or even before. It's not like they have to wait for DVD/Bluray. Ok. Do you think that all the people that bought Adele 21 have listen the album before buying it? I dont think so. There are different categories of people who buy music and you just describe one of them. But thats all. There are some people in this world that need a recommandation. For you may not represent nothing, for that person it matters. For other people all need it is a good performance or an apearance on a show. For some it is good a recommandation from a friend. Others may be really hard to convince, so they need all 3. But yes, reviews is not the end of the world. An album ( especially a pop album) can do very good with ok reviews. Bye 3,947 Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 And who knows, after the US promo spree coming up she could be back in Europe. the fact DWUW is back in Top 10 just from radio play (X factor has long worn off) is GREAT but I really want DWUW to do well in US radio is off to a great start but I really hope it'll do well in sales. Guys I have a feeling that J&D video may come out this week for Album promo ... and I also have a feeling that the video Is the one from the Swine fest ...
