She just need the right song and do some promotion in the US. Does that mean Lorde is bigger force than Gaga because she has the #1 song?!! NO. If you make a song that people like it will go #1. Easy. It's not THAT affected by who you're. If Applause was by someone else, would it even charge?! It's just people are into different kind of music now. That's it.
