If Gaga has filmed the Venus video, she should drop it the week of the album release just to generate buzz I will say, it's nice to see Katy's fans on the defense on ATRL. Not trying to be delusional or cocky, but Katy doesn't have the fan dedication that monsters have. So I am not ALL that worried about the debut being too low. But Katy was the first big pop girl to release her album. Miley debuted well for what it's worth, really. A 170K increase from her last record. And her album is holding up well, too. Avril hasn't been a force since 07, Kelly's doing a Christmas album so I don't expect that to open with as much as a studio album [especially without an actual single], Celine isn't a pop girl, Rihanna isn't releasing and neither is Beyonce. All other acts debuted well: Luke Bryan, Eminem [you know he will], Drake, Miley, JT, CHER etc I think she'll do over 400K. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
