If we know why DWUW shot straight to number one on iTunes, they sure as hell know why. There's clearly another reason, and all we can do is speculate until we see things unfold. I, for one, am happy to be along for the ride, even if there are ****tons of rough patches. :) Because it's a long term investment, look at all the praise she's been getting. There has to be a point where people realize you're a very talented singer and this is it for Gaga. Venus would probably have done better in charts but DWUW will probably help Gaga better in expanding fanbase, interest and praise. I'm confident Gaga should either perform Gypsy or a song from the Jazz album at the Grammy awards - acoustic. 30 million people watching and if other people get to know, over 60 million people will watch the performance in total. Guys, the slayage of applause is so real. From what it sounds like, Venus is going to be a smash, but DWUW is just as much as a smash. Ugh, this whole album has potential.
