Dominic 11,922
I don't understand why people are mad now though, Gaga doesn't care about charts...remember? The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

Opulence 1,380
I think it's because of the pre-orders because Katy's promo single Walking On Air didn't chart either. Yeah, it's against UK chart rules for a song to chart due to album pre orders, if it wasn't against the rules gaga could just release all songs one by one and get 15 top ten hits
Desperado 2,439
maybe venus is for the UK?

BoomMonster 4
Just, a mess. Hopefully they sort this out so it can chart this weekend, especially if she's performing it on XF. what do you mean? HAVEN'T ALL OF YOU UNDERSTOOD THE MESSAGE OF THE SONG YET? She doesn't care about the charts. They made this song chart-ineligible to spit into the haters' face and to shut some annoying fans up! Seriously people, stop being hypocrites! First all of you said "Oh I am a true monster blah blah blah, I don't care about charts, I just want her to be happy with her music blah blah blah" (too bad I can't include the voice I was using for that sentence)... Now you call their decisions a mess... MAKE UP YOU MIND, OKAY?! Just ugh at some monsters (doesn't apply to everyone ofc!)

BoomMonster 4
So maybe DWUW for US and VENUS WW?? I believe that's how it will be. Just like Rihanna's Te Amo and Rockstar

Still bummed it won't chart this week :( why just the UK though? Out of all the places...the one where she is performing this weekend lol battle for your life. Karl 3,392
Guys the reason they made it not able to chart is because their original plan was to have 3 promo singles, having them unable to chart means that they get no radio play or airtime which would make it less confusing for the GP having 3 gaga songs out in 3 weeks, yet they could still sell on iTunes. Now the plan has backfired because they've made DWUW a proper single and it can't chart because of the restrictions they put in place to prevent the promo single from getting radio play. I'm guessing their original plan was to release Venus as a stand alone single on iTunes so it would be eligible for the charts, which is probably what they are still going to do on Sunday. StrawberryBlond 14,819
Gaga, you're performing Venus on Sunday and making it the second official single, even if it's just in Europe. I'm not standing for this s**t anymore. Interscope has messed you and the fans around enough this era and I'm sick of it. You have the chance of a lifetime to get your career back on track in the UK and you're going to blow it if you perform this song that can't chart. Your label had better get their arse in check and make sure you perform the right song on Sunday because if you don't, this entire era could be a major fail here. The UK is still your second biggest market and its high time we were treated with that respect. The US isn't the centre of the universe and if a single is not working out in 99% of the world's charts, don't keep it just because it might give you a hit in the US. The X Factor is the best possible promotion you could get and just when it looked as if everything was going to go according to plan and you could get that #1, this happens. Why is everything too good to be true with Gaga anymore?! Why does she have these problems that other artists don't?! How come nothing's been fair ever since Judas?! Interscope have learned very little from her last era and they're making the biggest mess of things ever. For her next album, everything better be timed perfectly and no more last minute changes or making promos into official singles, no matter how successful they are. Gaga is literally the only artist on Interscope who has experienced this problem with her singles. What gives? What's worse is that fans are left in the dark over everything that's happening next. It's a disgrace.
