Any further singles released from an album pre-order (such as DWUW) will not be eligible to chart. So for DWUW to chart, interscope would have to release the single completely separately from the ARTPOP preorder. that makes sense. pry why katy perry didnt release unconditionally as a promo single and didnt make it available til album release. her label and team know what theyre doing. gagas do not. :( Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The UK Official Charts only allows ONE song from one album to chart 'officially' without being an actual single, and this was Applause.. so unless DWUW is now re-uploaded to the iTunes store with it's own link, own cover art etc as a separate single it won't chart in the UK at all and none of those sales will count Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Instead the world would be enjoying a promo single that generated buzz for the album/Gaga. Now there's just confusion everywhere. This tbh. Should have just stuck to the plan. Or waited till after the album to have a second single like Katy did.
