It is truly a phenomena back then people were scratching their heads, even non Katy fans. I'm more interested in it because of the fact that it is really telling of singles artists versus album artists. I am very curious to see what happens this go around. Thus, if they aren't feeling the material, they're not gonna buy it regardless like us. Its gonna flop. That's why Katy can never release risky material. Wait a few weeks and we'll see where it's at then. She also has done no promotion for the single and it isn't on the radio. Fun songs like Roar and DWUW tend to hop to the top of the chart regardless of promotion because they are faster-paced. Ballads like Unconditionally usually need something to get people buying it.
