Maybe DWUW is an accidental hit as well. Thing is, DWUW can officially be the second single without any problem because Venus has yet to be released. It was a last minute change, sure, but the change wasn't because the already-released second single flopped. I think it's a smart decision. Venus had a ceiling, just like Applause. DWUW was followed by massive twitter promo that made news, controversial cover art, etc. Hell, she promoted DWUW more than the official planned single, Venus. They shoulda just had Aura, Dope, MANiCURE, or Swine as promos. Aint no one was really here for those songs tbh. And what about the Venus trilogy now? MESS.
