**** y'all fake fans. One second ou love it now you hate it ???smh stfu!

If this is a success I don't want to see y'all excited for the song . Fakes!

It's not about not taking back our appreciation of the song. My God, DWUW is one of the best songs she's ever made and I am so proud of her. It's more to do with the fact that it's a last-minute change that occured when we were clearly expecting something else, something that Gaga planned out. It feels a little bit insecure and reckless on Interscope's part. Plus we were all just looking forward to Venus.

WAIT!

what is happening with Venus? is it still going to be released next week? Is she going to have TWO singles on the radio?!

With DWUW fully promoted as the 2nd single, Venus has taken its place as the new promo single - which means Venus would no longer be serviced to radio.

but she hyped Venus so much that I really think it has slaying abilities (maybe even on par to DWUW)! I wish she wouldn't demote it to a promo single bc I want it to have its time to shine.. idk

You are still getting Venus, though. Why aren't some of you getting that? You're getting to hear Venus before the album drops and eventually you'll get a Venus music video.

So radio cant play it at all? Bc if that's the case, how did TEOG get so high on the charts as a (initial ) promo? I'm hoping that Venus will do the same thing (climb the charts as a promo), but that can't happen if radio stations can't play it..? Lie i'm confused.

I meant Venus as the honest-to-Jesus, official promoted second single.

Radio can still play it, similar to how the KP promo singles received some airplay - but it won't be HUGE and CONSISTENT compared to official singles being pushed by the radio stations because they're sent by the labels themselves. DWUW simply followed TEOG's path - strong opening reception that eventually convinced Interscope to release it as an official single with the hope it could be a smash hit.

As for TEOG, it debuted so high in the charts because of its sales alone, without any support from radio at all (well, at least in the beginning when it wasn't still promoted as an official single).
