DWUW cannot debut within the top 5 of the HOT 100 due to the lack of ample radio plays. Let's say 50K pre-ordered ARTPOP, then that 50K would automatically be attributed to the sales of DWUW, a promo single for the album itself. Hence, it's #1 on iTunes.
