The explicit version, the censored version and yet another censored version with the correct cover. Why can't they just fix everything in one fell swoop, I don't understand. Especially since NONE of the 3 ARTPOPs are entirely correct. The explicit one doesn't have the tracklist or real cover. The first censored one is the same. The third censored one HAS the tracklist and cover, but then ARTPOP isn't capitalized like it should be, whereas the other two previous ARTPOPs do have that capitalization. It'll hover around the Top 10 mark for maybe a week more and then it'll fall out. It's Venus's turn. Sorry, I think I didn't make myself clear saying "picked" :toofloppy: .I was trying to say that I think the higher position of Applause on Billboard Hot 100 was #4 because of only her fan base...If her popularity were high like in 2009/2010, the song could easily have gone #1 because we would have had the GP helping us too.Now that Applause is out for some time, the GP had time to dicover the song after de promos and I think that's the reason Applause is still on Top 10 and rised to #8 when everybody was thinking it would fall from top 10.I don't think it can go #1 now, but it can have even more longevity that it actually has if she presented it with Venus on a big show.I think we can have 2 songs on top 10.Venus on #3, maybe #1 and Applause on #10 or #9.I mean, Applause is huge!!Is a freaking amazing song, better than the majority of the songs on TF/TFM era...For those who hate the song because it didn't go #1, I say that I don't think any of the new songs would have been too...Simply because after BTW era her popularity with the GP was not the same as in 2010 and we have Miley and Katy releasing albums too and they are much more commercial.So, I think it was way better for her to "sacrifice" a song that is not the best on the album (Applause) than releasing Venus, ARTPOP or Sex Dreams as the first singles without preparing the GP for her again...Now she is ready for a #1.Not that I care about the GP and the charts...But at the end of the day she has to sell in this business and this estrategies are necessary and I really think Interscope is acting great by putting Applause as the first single. I think I didn't mean it... I must have misunderstood your first post. My mistake. Interscope chose 'Applause' as the lead single. That's all we know. I'm not sure why - it's likeable and fun - I'm sure that's why. I think Interscope/Gaga though the song would be a smash because it was the lead; we all did. Not that it hasn't done well, it's held it's own in a very competitive Top 10 in the US; WorldWide it hasn't done so well. It's okay to care about charts - everyone here wants Gaga at the top.
