They just don't go well together and sound like she is just shouting things at random. Gaga has the best pre choruses this era. They are awesome and each is better than the last. I still think the bridge could be a tad better, but on the whole I like the song. Def one of her most unique-sounding songs. And a good chorus. The Fame 4,192 Posted October 27, 2013 Share Posted October 27, 2013 After my initial freakout, I will say my fav. part is the 'when you touch me I die, just a little inside...' chorus and the very beginning (first snippet we got). I think it's slightly messy in the very sudden 'I CAN'T HELP THE WAY I'M FEELING!' soul-sounding part and the 'take me to your planet' is a little iffy but I think it's the 'I can't help the way I'm feeling' poisoning that a bit (too many different sounds right there). This should have been the single; the reason Bad Romance did so well is because it was weird for a pop song back then. It was dark, creepy, almost gothic. I think Gaga needs to stop releasing generic songs to appeal to the GP because, in truth, I feel like they enjoy Gaga the most when she's weird and alien to everything else. This is my favourite 'single' since Born This Way. I just wish it was official. The only thing I would change is the second verse, particularly the first line; it should have been sung in the same rhythm and tune as the first verse.
