You're absolutely right, but it's the only thing this review mentions about the cover. This is a world-class work of art because it refers to other great artworks. Okay. That's it. He has nothing else to say, except for the obviously wrong gazing ball a--lysis :rip:

Yeah. He thinks its a clever entry into the wider conversation of art, replying to and updating works that came before. Which is more than most album covers accomplish.

You've convinced yourself he's being pretentious so you're missing the point which is actually quite simple.

Well, okay. If that's really his only point, then I don't understand why everyone's praising this review :ohwell:

But I guess I do agree with the "more than most album covers" idea. That doesn't make it a "world-class work of art" tho.

Maybe everyone's praising it because it, along with the other cover reviews, shows people from the media are finally taking Gaga's ambitions seriously, instead of dismissing her ideas and output just because of the genre and audience she targets?

Fair enough, "world-class work of art" is pretty hyperbolic and doesn't mean much in the end.

Well.. He's talking about Koons, not about Gaga :ohwell:

I came to this conclusion about some/many GGD users :

-If someone praises Gaga : "OMGZZZZ SO TRU SLAY SLAY SLAY QUEEN GAGZ OMGZZZZ"

If someones critisizes Gaga : "What a flop, doesn't even know what he's talking about etc etc"

Very accurate  You've definitely educated yourself about the subject :lolgaga:

The sad thing is that when someone praises her, many don't even seem to care about what they're saying :rip:
