PoshLife 16,929
Is anyone else wondering why Zedd said "There's a problem, Lady Gaga wants your song"?
Jec 0
How were they do in a do or die situation? They literally could have just said 'no' and that'd be the end. Gaga liked Die Antwoord, she wanted them to open for her and they'd have made money too just like IM. But Die Antwoord turned them down because they didn't want to "commercialize" themselves, did Gaga send hitmen after them? Nope, that was it YES YES and YES
Knife 6,686
Gaga really needs to learn how to pick her people better.
Underneath 175
we avoid commercialization it's a guaranteed lifelong pension. Each time the song is being played or sold, we get some pretty nice royalties. Edited October 5, 2013 by Teedhooks

Kermit the frog 1,892
"we want to avoid the comercialisation of our music" so that's why you sell your song because it will give you lots of money? What kinda double standards? And they dare to call gaga "cheap" pathetic idiots.
Queen 99
:awkney: disgusting attitude. Gaga is anything but cheap. Luckily it's only a promo single. The Queen has no time for such snobbery. :gaga:
Interludicrous 15
And your point is what exactly? If for example I'm a fan of Lady Gaga and I think the name is silly, does that mean I'm barred from calling any other artiste name I think is silly too? Or do I have to put some disclaimer on my post I'm just saying that it's nonsense to judge an artist based on their name. However silly the name might be at first glance, you never know how creative or interesting the story behind someone might be unless you take some time to look into it. So saying "What in the world kinda name is Infected Mushroom? Did they run out of ideas?" would be the same as saying "What kind of a name is Lady Gaga anyway? Sounds like baby food" :reductive: Edited October 5, 2013 by Interludicrous
Didymus 34,379
There's no need for that, honey. If you're so embarrassed, I'm sure you know how to exit your browser.
monketsharona 61,695
So disrespectful. I understand opinions but its iffy to say this about someone ur working with (is he like zedds partner?). This should have been a DJWS exclusive album tbh. oh no ! I'm quite excited to listen Zedd and Madeon's songs; Madeon deserves its place on ARTPOP era. Zedd never said something bad on Gaga. But I agree those guys have nothing do do on ARTPOP Edited October 5, 2013 by monketsharona
Katie 65
"we want to avoid the comercialisation of our music" so that's why you sell your song because it will give you lots of money? What kinda double standards? And they dare to call gaga "cheap" pathetic idiots. This is the bottom line, here. If they didn't want to be commercialized, don't sell your song to Lady Gaga for money. Simple.

ryhanna 3,507
Is anyone else wondering why Zedd said "There's a problem, Lady Gaga wants your song"? Based on that interview, I'd guess that Zedd was working on the song with them intending to release it for themselves. Then he played it for Gaga, who loved it and asked to keep it. teo 609
So... they're sell outs basically, but they're still against it.
