liberacorpus 5
Am I the only one who is kinda on their side? I disagree that the song is cheesy or her vocals are bad over the top (or whatever they said) but I'm not saying it's solely Gaga who 'prized the track out of their hands', but that's someone's work. They were in a "do or die" situation. well no, they would lose some money and recognition but if they put their dignity in art in front commercialism then they wouldnt have given their piece of art to a name like Gaga. and if they were unsatisfied with the result, they shouldve told this to her firstly but clearly they dont have guts and they still want to be heard by the public

barnabesk 1,230
So they basically say they sold a part of their delusional integrity for money and fame. And Gaga approaches this theme from her very beginning, criticising artists that sell their own values for something they do not want to represent or be associated with. When you are not a fan of somebody else, because he/she might represent the contrast of what you want to be like than don't f*cking collaborate with these artists for little money. In the long run, you'll lose the authenticity that keeps you alive Gaga being authentic > Infected Mushroom losing their credibility Edited October 5, 2013 by barnabesk
PoshLife 16,929
So first they use Gaga for the money, then they go around bashing her for "artistic" reasons. If they think it's an "artistic compromise" then THEY'RE the sell-outs. Gaga's doing what she's always done. Can't have it both ways, children. Xgongiviguess 396
What in the world kinda name is Infected Mushroom? Did they run out of ideas? its because they used to eat mushrooms that make them high before making their music

They were in a "do or die" situation. How were they do in a do or die situation? They literally could have just said 'no' and that'd be the end. Gaga liked Die Antwoord, she wanted them to open for her and they'd have made money too just like IM. But Die Antwoord turned them down because they didn't want to "commercialize" themselves, did Gaga send hitmen after them? Nope, that was it
