Gaga's egocentrism is turning me off and making her "flop"

Where is the assumption that everyone says yes to Gaga, coming from?

 

I'm starting to wonder about this myself, it's like some ggd myth that people have picked up on and suddenly everyone is repeating it like sheep

 

I do have the solution: SHE CAN HIRE SOME PROFESSIONAL DIRECTORS AND CREATIVE DIRECTORS. She needs someone to help her translate her ideas in the right way. That's all. It's all there, it's just poorly done.

Explain this though, like you said, she's "egocentric" and thinks everything she does is "gold" right? So what makes you think she'll listen to professionals?

I feel like she is surrounded by Yes-men and yes-women and YAS-fans that she doesn't seem to have anyone saying "Gaga, this is convoluted. This doesn't sound that good. This doesn't make sense."

I honestly think that she needs someone negative on her team to keep the reality portion of the fantasy/reality thing she harps about.

 

Do I hate her? no. But I feel she is not hitting her best work internally cause the internal people can't critique her.

 

Look at Steven Klein. Flop after flop of messy "arty" convoluted videos that try to say so much, but stumble because it makes no sense.

You're ignoring the fact she has worked with professionals nonstop. The press release for ARTPOP had a list of professionals at the end of it even. Lol

i feel like you all complain too much... all i see is f0cking hate towards Gaga in this site... she worked with Professionals Inez and Vinoodh are in this buisness long before gaga, and they've done so much epic advertisements for fashion labels.

the videos from BTW were all epic (not TEOG but thats okay )

 

She's working her ****ing ass off for us and all i see is you complaining, today is the 4th or 5th thread about an issue with gaga.

appplause is doing very well, she doesnt have to be n1 all the time, she's still more legendary than Katy perry or Rihanna, she will be remembered as one of the best from this generation. she and the haus know what they're doing.

 

Your just full of yourself if you think you know better about this industry than gaga herself, she knows why she chose applause, she knows why she hasnt released the tracklist or the album cover, she's not ****ing dumb... 

 

and if you're not happy the door is open, you can leave the fanbase anyday, you won't be missed anyways

I'm all for fans critiquing her promotional schedules or her single selections and what not, but what's the point in attacking her character as an artist and calling her egotistical?

Zedd is recent, and isn't part of the Haus. he is, like Swine said, a professional who works with Gaga to focus her broad vision.

You have some valid thoughts.  But it's nice that Gaga has full control over her career.  I would rather who do what she is doing and not be as successful commercial than have her do the same kind of things Katy is doing.  YAWN.  Sure, Roar is catchy and the video is cute.  But my corgi is cute.  If I was looking for cute in an artist, I wouldn't be a Gaga fan.

but you act like someone's status as an industry director is gonna change the way you feel. 

do you even have the slightest, tiny tiniest idea who shes working with? her current creative director is marla weinhoff, shes been in the fashion industry for years working as a set/creative director and has worked with the likes of a small indie photgrapher known as Richard Avadon. inez and vinoodh are heralded fashion photographers who unarguably take the best prortrait work to date, and have been for years and years. they shoot for french vogue on the daily, 

 

that team sounds a hell of a lot more professional than who ever creative director she was working with before, and i think we all know who im talking about, so maybe you should read up on these people before you start judging them as amateurs. 

 

if you think the prestigious status of the people she works with is gonna change the substance of what she puts out, then you are deluded. none of her early work was made by people who where high up in the industry. she was doing DIY pop music, doing things on her own. finding scraps of fabric and sewing daily, making her own inventions, and making no money off of it. and yet that early work gets praised to the T.
