BigDreamer 77 Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 She has changed her artistry alot during every part of her career so far so its not all going to strike the same chord and success as each different thing she tries. most of her performances, interviews, attitudes, ect are all a part of her experimenting with what works and what she is trying to convey at the time. The only real arguably disappointing thing all around are the new ARTPOP shirts and thats because it was a lazy effort that i could do myself for a 4th of the price. Then BTW came and she rode on the success of TFM but by Marry The Night everyone was kinda like OK shut up now who dyou think you is. She thinks we want her to pander to us. Actualy lately everything has been like that. When the ARTPOP promo shoot came out I thought the idea for this era was to make it clean and simple but I just don't see that with Applause (the song, the video, the performances). But declaring yourself for putting Art in pop culture is far too self obsessed. Even with Born This Way all the lyrics was "I" Personally I don't want to hear Adele's whining about her break-up or Taylor bashing her ex-boyfriends.
