msquare91 1 Posted September 12, 2013 Share Posted September 12, 2013 I'm surprised it's holding somewhat stable. It's a good song, but it's not an earworm that gets stuck in your head for days. I've realized too that emotionally it's just really different from most of the songs out there. It doesn't make me feel s-xy or sad or party-like or fierce...I'm not really sure what it makes me feel like. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing! That's what keeps me thinking that she still has a chance. Imo, fans were responsible for the first weeks' sales, because the GP still thinks she's boring and serious like she was during BTW. Radios seem to play Applause more often now, which tells me that the GP is now starting to know the song and thinking about giving her a "second chance".
