Matias94 0
After this week's Hot 100 chart was revealed, Gaga fell one spot to #7. This is how it looks now: 1. Roar - Katy Perry 2. Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke 3. Royals - Lorde 4. Holy Grail - JAY Z feat. Justin TImberlake 5. Wake Me Up - Avicii 6. Summertime Sadness - Lana Del Rey 7. Applause - Lady Gaga What do you think of all these songs/artists? Lorde is a 16 years old girl from New Zealand. Blurred Lines has been there for months, so no comments on that. Katy is far outselling Gaga. Holy Grail is getting old but is still charting higher. Wake Me Up worked its way up to where it is now. And Lana Del Rey, the artist that has been getting hate from many monsters, has a 1.5 year-old song charting higher than Applause. #7 is pretty decent, but way lower than many of us expected it to be. Didymus 34,379
Summertime Sadness? How did it get up there? I mean, it was released more than a year ago Edit: Oh, I found out it's a remix.

Checkers 3,515
The song had to be remixed just so it can get that high tho
LORD GAGA 1,271
Lana is only charting because her song was remixed... and this thread was not necessary.
Highway Capricorn 24
If someone told me last year that I'd see Summertime Sadness above Gaga's new single I'd laugh

Chic 20,830
I really don't think it matters when a song is released, it matters when it reaches the public eye Just because it's old doesn't mean it can't be successful
monstercj 0
I'm starting to hear Applause more often on top 40 stations in my area! One of the stations plays 'clips' of their 3 most popular songs each time they go into a commercial break and Applause has been included for the first time this week so that means its becoming more popular with their listeners! So hopefully it will gain more sales with more radio airplay across the U.S.
