You can't go and dump on people giving their opinions on what will make for a better single and then say something like "Sex Dreams is a definite smash hit." Kinda makes you look just as bad as the rest of us. I'm using evidence to back up my opinion though so it's hardly the same as wildly making claims like "THE RADIO WON'T PLAY IT, THE GP WILL HATE IT, IT WILL FLOP" yes.you said the label wanted s-x dreams as first single.my question was that if her label wanted s-x dreams then that would be the lead single. I didn't say that at all. I said Sex Dreams was strongly considered for lead single and that a song that wouldn't be played on radio wouldn't have been given that much consideration. The GP will be very mixed though. I can tell you right now. Some will call her a slut, others will claim the song is about them and so and so. Others will just ignore. It's just one of those songs. It walks that line. But then you have all the Gaga haters out there who will dive on top of that **** so fast and use it as a weapon against her. You know it's true. Gaga and her peeps may have been considering it for a lead single... But it never happened. Someone probably shot down the idea because of the song's themes and how not-so-subtle it is about them. Based on the, admittedly little, information we have now opinion doesn't seem that mixed. Gaga has had risque songs and videos before. Love Game was a risque song and the vid was banned in Aus. Alejandro was about her choosing between three lovers and the video was risque. Sex and Lady Gaga is nothing new. The decision for lead single eventually went to Applause, but Sex Dreams wouldn't have been given much consideration for LEAD single at all if they didn't think it had a chance on radio or if they didn't think it would perform.
