AquaFire Witch 160
Great interview!Well my take on it is that if she does respond to the critics from time to time I don’t see anything wrong with it. She is still human and her sensitivity might come out sometimes. Michael Jackson’s sure did a lot. He wrote songs about it. So did Madonna. But I really didn’t take her comments to mean that she really was that worried. I think she is just letting people know she is here for all of the right reasons. HORRORHOLIC 68
I thought what Gaga said was excelent, one of my favorite interviews I've read from her to be honest. That said, the interviewer didn't seem to be a Gaga fan at all and obviously wasn't trying to paint a pretty picture. She seemed to enjoy adding her little jabs didn't she ? Oh well, Gaga came across great in my opinion. I'm sure her real fans will see through the rest,
Pity Party 743
She gets really set off by haters this time around. I think it comes from the fact that she was really expecting Applause to do better than it is.
HORRORHOLIC 68
And of course Gaga wants to sell her records and wants them to do well. That's not what she's saying, she's saying she would rather put out what she wants iand make what she feels is the best quality of music, instead of having to fit a certain image or certain sound only to please the general public. Rae 86
People that don't know her when she started out hate her because of her publicly announced fan base of GLBT. That is a turn off for many and will never admit they like Gaga because of that. People don't want to be question about their s-xuality when they are straight. So it is hard for straight people to come out and say I like Gaga's music. Her time has come to be herself and go for it and stop the political drama. Be a artist Gaga. Gagaloo911 12,959
I find it funny that anyone tries to use "Miley got more coverage than Gaga at the VMAs" as a way of proving anything. Remember the 2009 VMAs when Gaga delivered (what many see as) her most iconic performance? What was the big moment of that show? So much truth. I enjoyed this article. She really opened up and showed us what it's like to be her, how she feels about the constant barrage of haters and pressed ones calling her "over" and "done". She is so strong, I can't imagine her strength, cause if I was in her shoes I would not be able to put on a smile and act like it doesn't phase me. I'd want to run into a corner and forget about it all. I couldn't do what she somehow amazingly does do..

Gaga wants success on the charts (let's be honest, she wants to be #1) but on her terms and NOT by conforming to the current trend. That's how she made it big with JD, PF and set the trend. I wonder if we all would seriously choose Gaga to have Katy singles so that Gaga puts out Roar, Dark Horse, Walking On Air, and vice versa. Gaga would get all the hit singles, but would we be happy with the music? Not to throw shade, but Gaga's tracks are more melodic and beautiful (except for Jewels N' Drugs which I don't quite like).
