You don't have a number 4 single when you are over. Rihanna has number one hits so, but also has singles who are number 12, 14, 34 etcetera and she's still a big name. So people please... Stop the drama. It's all so ridiculous - especially if you look back at the careers of the world's biggest superstars...she's not always going to be #1, but she will eventually be on top of the world again if she plays her cards right. The problem is that she's playing a long-term game now but the GP still sees her as a fad because her imagery and message and just how damn catchy everything she has released has been. I don't know if Gaga's quotes were manipulated or not, but her thoughts sound scattered and she sounds a bit insecure about Born This Way and Applause. It's strange considering her interviews have otherwise been great this era. Maybe she was just tired. Finally someone who understands me! It's normal. I think many people think she's over because she did an amazing start. But be honnest. No single person can have that much luck with singles etcetera. She's now one of the big 5 (Rihanna, Britney Spears, Katy perry, Beyoncé). She's one of the biggest popstars in the world so please don't say she's over because she's not number 1. being number one is not always a good thing (Psy is now over). So people she's not over. Stop the drama and believe in our queen. So she can still believe in making good music and makes us happy. If we are there for her she will be there for us. What she cares about is being successful, being great and being a legend, and yes, being the number one pop artist in the world. That is why she's working so hard. If you see all of her interviews, she keeps saying that she doesn't care about money, I don't think she ever said that she doesn't care about success (I could be wrong). You only have to watch gagavision to see how she is afraid of being ordinary, not being the best and not being great! Her ambition is kind of scary, but it does explain why she is such a fantastic performer and no matter how much she is "flopping" she brings in the ratings and viewers. I don't think she is chart-obsessed though and I genuinely don't think she cares about them that much either. Of course it feels good being on top, but just because she's not doesn't mean she is not allowed to celebrate her chart position, being recognized is good. If she weren't we wouldn't even hear about her anymore. Can't make songs if no one will listen to them. But I really don't think she cares about charts and sales only.
