It's still in the top 5 on Itunes, starting to get + radio updates again and about 1.5 million views daily on the video so it is doing fine right now. It's much better to keep pushing Applause for a while, this song has legs. tea spilled. Also glad she's keeping with it, it's a great song and like others have said, it's holding well charts/numbers wise. I also think it's a good move to let the hype from the new songs die down so that if one of them is released as a second single before the album drops, there's been enough of a time gap to get really excited again about hearing the final, studio version. She has performed the song twice, if you think that's promoting the LEAD single off of her new album enough, you are clearly seriously mistaken. really? cus what katy and eminem did? stop it. The song has only been out for like 3 weeks. it is stupid for her to drop the song when the song is sitting comfortably on top 10. And fyi, both IWBWY and J&D are not surefire hit as you think.
