But the fantasy lover who's boyfriend went away this weekend isn't a specific person. It's literally just the naughty side of Gaga that likes to play. The fantasy lover is her music as a person kinda. She lives halfway between reality and fantasy. And the fantasy is how she lives on the stage. The fantasy lover is us, its the music, its this human that resembles all of that. She speaks to Taylor because it's the serious intimacy, and she sings to us, her naughty lovers with whom she has an affair with.But yeah this song is about Taylor, but Taylor is a girl here. It's Gaga. do you think in Monster Gaga actually had a girlfriend who she asked if she'd seen him around before? No. It's just her Gaga-twist on things.
