Sure she'd be pleased if it happened, but it doesn't seem to be her primary aim. She's not collaborating with people that'll thrust her into the mainstream either. I mean, Araabmuzik and Diplo are huge and very well known and respected in certain circles, but it's not like they're Max Martin or Dr. Luke or RedOne. If she did I'm sure she'd be working with big name pop producers for her album but she isn't. And as surprising it may be to some pop music fans, not everything is about "hits". Theres a reason Nicki Minaj is making Starships/Pound the Alarm and Azealia is making Luxury/Van Vogue. I don't care about chart positions I'm talking about not being able to get away from it everywhere I went. It was a hit. Everyone loved it. Just because Nicki is making club bangers doesn't mean she isn't staying real. The first half of her album is real ****. The last quarter of the album is real ****. There's one quarter of the album that she's using as hits. And even then she's being innovative not with production but delivery on dance tracks. So sit the **** down. Azealia will be gone before you know it. She's already backtracked and called herself a "vocalist" ... which mean y'all have an excuse when she shifts genre or "sells out" as everyone likes to call it these days.
