I'm surprised it wasn't 'watch me at the pool' based on the previous lyrics I'm pretty sure it's "lay in the cut." The cut is like a place in the middle of nowhere, or like a quiet place of relaxation. I thought it was 'laying the cut' like creating a good song, 'the cut from the album'. Little Boots is an absolutely stunning independent artist and a wonderfully outspoken woman in the music industry. Don't try to throw shade just because she can also appreciate non-traditional fashion. Embracing new ways to incorporate technology into her artwork has been something she's done throughout the entirety of her career. You can take a damn seat.
