seana39223 1
Wonder if all the songs are already picked, or theres a chance to add a new one, wasnt HML written like 2 months before BTW was out? I'm sure there's still a chance she could add a new song if she wanted after all the iTunes preorder does say contents subject to change. LilJackoMonster 0
I've had a few change of hearts in the past day or so. I love every new song (except Jewels & Drugs...) so I'm excited for whatever the 2nd single turns out to be. But here's how I see it. Aura - Radio would avoid this. It's too messy in its current form. It's the Judas of this album as far as I see it. Gaga wants this as a single as far as I can tell but I think the best thing for it is to wait for single 4 and get Beyoncé on the track to keep the campaign fresh and still appealing to buy in it's single form for people who already have the album. Swine - My personal favourite but as much as I love it and all the amazing imagery that came with it for SwineFest I think she should keep this for the album. It's such a good song. For me it rivals Scheisse head on but I can't see radio touching this either. ARTPOP - I think this stay an album track. It's a perfect song but it's too unrelatable to the GP. MANiCURE - My original choice for Single #2. Radio would play it but can you honestly see anyone bar women using this song? As monsters, we don't really care what we sing about when it's Gaga because we eat all her songs up but for all the Straight guys out there, do you really think they want song that on the surface is about MANiCUREs and going even deeper is about cures for loving men too much? I don't think so. And then we come to Sex Dreams - I had my reservations at first. Radio would possibly be apprehensive about this. I don't know how well it would go down but for me, she can take the risk. It's a great song. And it's simple: Sex sells. It's written from a perspective that almost everyone can relate to (straight men, gay men, lesbians, bis-xuals) and it's fun. It's her most relatable song since Just Dance if you ask me. On a side note, can I just point out how wrong some people were? Before Swine Fest there was a lot of moaning and groaning about DJWS producing most of the newly premiered songs and now that we've heard them, everyone's fighting over which one is best. Can we all agree now that Paul is quite an amazing producer? I mean, the production on ARTPOP alone is mesmerising. And Swine is something else. (sorry for the long post, I'm sh!t and being succinct.) Edited September 4, 2013 by LilJackoMonster
Doogi 1,507
Sooo I guess the Aura leak isn't a demo and is actually the studio version? I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.
SMILE2NE1 3,566
Sooo I guess the Aura leak isn't a demo and is actually the studio version? Gaga purposely leaked it I think she reduced the audio quality and then leaked it

Doogi 1,507
Gaga purposely leaked it I think she reduced the audio quality and then leaked it But she performed the version that everyone thought was a demo, so it must not actually be a demo. I think the low quality audio might actually be apart of the song. I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.

GagaSkeletonWay 2,080
Why? No, now seriously, when Lady Gaga was interviewed by Capital FM (?) and they asked her about Bey being in the studio version she said "Who knows? Everything can happen for the end of this trilogy". If Gaga hadn't collaborated with Beyonce or maybe with other artist in the song, she absolutely wouldn't say WHO KNOWS? It's obvious that someone is there, and I think is Bey! Maybe we hear the studio version and there's no one in the song, but I am 95% sure that there's someone in the song.
