Arturo 40,746
Just think, if she performed it once on a TV show here, it would probably already be there ... I don't know why she only performed Applause, her comeback single, in the U.S and Japan... She could've performed it in the U.K just once and France and I would've been happy

Arturo 40,746
The fact she has done major promo nowhere outside of US, UK and Japan .............. Let's hope, if she plans to go ahead with Act II, that she does at least half of Born This Way's promo The thing that frustrates me most right now is the lack of her team being able to get it together and send the 3rd single to radios. I mean...it's February. Obviously the album is dying everywhere because there's no current single to support it considering DWUW is done EVERYWHERE. (Especially the U.K where it took off first!) StrawberryBlond 14,307
Sam Bailey's releasing her debut album, The Power Of Love, on March 24th. It will consist of covers as well as original compositions. This will set the record of the earliest XF winners release. It'll also be the first female winners album to have covers be a big part of its make-up. It didn't work for Steve Brookstein and I doubt it'll work for her. The show is smart by releasing the winner's album so early for once but I think it's a bit too early. Six months after the win with a summer release would be better. Any earlier just seems like you're too scared of flopping. Knowing the album's been flung together this quickly and is lazy enough to include covers is already a bad sign. Union J's woeful debut was thrown together quickly (but it had more time than this) and consisted of just ten songs and two of them were covers. It was one of the worst albums I'd ever heard. I really feel for Sam. She's been played big time by Cowell.

Now would be a great time for the 3rd single too - everything is so quiet, and apart from Dark Horse, nothing is really that big right now.
Sexxx 5,538
She's also missing all of the big promo spots too, Grammys and the Brits. By the time she comes back, it's going to be hard to have decent promo spots. The only ones I can think of in the UK are the Voice (I think in March) and Britain's Got Talent (in May). zeebre12 0
The bad thing is now if she does perform her new single at the Brits it will be the x factor situation again..where the song rises and then fall during the week because it has hardly no airplay..compare this to dark horse with its increasing airplay at rising to the top 10 on I tunes..when she performs this and releases the video all around the same time it will be huge..compare this to last gaga it rises then falls throughout the week then wait another 4 weeks for a video..DWUW all over again..another wasted opportunity
