Freddy 4,421
Applause seems to be stable in the 20s...... hopefully it will crack the top 50 best selling singles of the year T_T
StrawberryBlond 13,594
Quite surprising charts of late... Â Jessie J crashing out of the top ten in her third week. HAIM getting the #1 album over JT. Finding out that Applause hasn't even cracked the top 40 bestselling songs of the year yet. Finding out that We Can't Stop has only sold about 362,000 copies despite it going to #1 and being a really steady hit. Â And now the new single releases. I simply can't fathom how Miley is shooting to #1 again. I swear she's got a whole new fanbase now. It'll be so weird if she gets two #1 singles with this album and yet Bruno, Jessie, One Direction and Gaga couldn't even get their lead single/second singles and beyond to the top. And I never thought I'd see the day when OneRepublic, Conor Maynard and The Saturdays were all charting higher than Justin Beiber. That discount only did him any good for a few hours before he fell even harder. Yeah, his last album really flopped here, sales-wise, but this is the confirmation that it wasn't a fluke because his singles usually shoot straight to #2 on itunes. I think it's safe to say his star has faded in the UK. His whole latecoming at the O2 was a dealbreaker for a lot of his fans, I think. Parents will also likely be reluctant to finance their little girl's obsession with a boy who smokes weed, verbally abuses his neighbours, lashes out at paparazzi and has been caught on video swearing and peeing in mop buckets.
