I think the lack of promo,which you touched upon, it what is killing her. I don't understand why she's suddenly not going out and pushing her music like before.

I think her label finally took the hint that she was extremely overexposed. Myself and everyone else I spoke to, was sick of her being everywhere in the media. She won the BRITS newcomer award, her songs were on the radio and going top 10, she was always doing some tv interview, she performed at the Olympics closing ceremony, her role on The Voice, getting her hair shaved for charity...that, coupled with her very polarising voice and attention seeking antics turned a lot of people off and her label maybe realised that the best route was more select, understated promotion and just letting the music do the talking. But they clearly underestimated how much her name alone could carry a song. All her promotion has been 100% festival based so far and it's doing absolutely nothing. Plus, she's not even trying to launch a campaign in America. She's going to really regret stepping down from The Voice by next year. At least it gave her some promotion every week.

Bad Romance = 1

Telephone = 2

Alejandro = 1

Born This Way = 3

All airplay peaks were added to the OP a while ago ;)

Im kinda hoping the GaGa/Rih collab is legit, we all know the UK stans Rihanna, so a song like s-x dreams with GaGa would win back so much of the GP

Gaga + Rihanna is a sure #1 in the UK.

I wouldnt mind it to happen, it's not as if Gaga is having another female popstar on all her singles.. and im here for Gaga's 5th #1 ^^

Even if it didn't get airplay because of it's content I think it'd go #1 too, the amount of hype around them doing a song and being in a video would be enormous, imagine them doing it on the x factor  :eek:

Rihanna will be going for her 7th straight year with a UK #1.

I figured she'd do some big duets this year in place of the annual album (because of declining album sales and all the competition

Gaga could use the UK singles boost and US rhythmicurban airplay.

An X Factor performance with the two would be CRAZY promo. The song would be huge.
