StrawberryBlond 14,527
Was my last post too harsh? ;) Anyway, I just refreshed the worldwide iTunes to find that ARTPOP preorders are currently #2 in the UK! Just imagine her figures when she releases the album around the time she performs on X Factor!

StrawberryBlond 14,527
Just found out that the next single from Bruno Mars will be...Gorilla. His label must be out of their minds. If they seriously think that a song as raunchy and controversial as that is going to get airplay or benefit him in any way, they've got another think coming. After the flop that was Treasure, I expected them to go the safe route and release one of the promo singles as an official single (because let's face it, they're the only safe choices left on the album) but of all the choices, they chose the riskiest one of all? And that's not all. He's going to be performing it at the VMAs. And it's going to sound really weird with all the censoring he'll have to do. After this, Bruno's image is going to change completely. Maybe the whole point was to get people talking and get him out of his chart rut but this is going to have the opposite effect. A song with alcohol/d--gs, s-x and strong swearing will not go down well in America. They can take a song with one of these, maybe even two, but not all three. And I doubt the rest of the world will be hearing this on radio during the day either. I don't know what Bruno was thinking with this album and its experimental songs that the average pop listener doesn't care for and making three risky single choices. Looks like his next album will have to be a complete u-turn back to the way he was because if he keeps going like this, he's going to sink into obscurity. Ive stopped when you said that Treasure was a flop. It was a top 10 in most of the countries. Yes, it was 12 in UK, but that doesnt make it a flop. James001 16
#8 on iTunes now. Although on kworbs it's very tight so will probably fluctuate between 9-7 today unless it can gain even more and clear the competition!!!
GagaMyBlood95 9,908
so, is it #7 or #8 ? It's good anyways!
