I enjoy listening to all the great popstars' music, even though I might not be a fan of their personas. The only person I'm creating something bad towards is someone who's actually kicking Gaga metaphorically on a daily basis, which I think feels like bullying. That guy caused superstars like Christina Aguilera to loose a lot of their reputation. And then Gaga goes back and says something like "blogger reviews are nothing we should care about", even though the blogger scene has promoted Lady Gaga since her beginning. So that's kinda unfair. Anyway, not being mad at that, I just feel like a bit of a competition is OK. And when their fans keep fighting a bit around on Twitter, that's okay, too. Cause, think about it, it just spreads the word that both artists actually have new singles and that might cause more people to buy them. I don't really care if Lady Gaga is on the #1 spot, even though I won't lie, it'd be cool to see her there again. By the way, try to think back: in the beginning it was a fight between the Christina Aguilera fans and the Monsters, then the Britney Spears fans and the Monsters, then the Madonna fans and the Monsters and well, … in the end the Katy Perry fans and the Monsters and everything turned out to be totally okay. Well, actually it even feels like the Britney fans are as sick and tired as we are, fighting about who's better. I even saw Chris Crocker the other day talking about Perez Hilton bullying Lady Gaga and that he should stop it, as it's immature. I bet you all know him and he always was a huge Britney Spears fan and I bet he still (at least) adores her  and still, he supports Lady Gaga, too. And when it comes to me (personally) I have to say, since then my feelings for Britney Spears have changed, too. I see her differently  same counts for her fan community. IN THE END: It's not hate we're fighting for, it's love. The love for the artist we admire the most  Lady Gaga. She has always helped us through her music and opinion. Helped soldiers to be able to come out, supported same-s-x marriage, talked to Barack Obama about bullying in school and how to prevent it and founded the Born This Way Foundation. Shouldn't we be proud that we have such a strong fan community that supports the artist  how the artists supports us  until the very end? I know some of us might be really b---hy  but that's because a lot of us are still very young. It will change and so will the community. We'll all get older and wiser and someday we'll also find our inner peace. Symbolically: cool thing, do it. It's never wrong to show love. But on the other side: do we really NEED it? Applause: approx 22,000 dislikes Roar: approx 11,000 dislikes This is kinda sad, cause I've never seen pages like PDLM addressed to Madonna or Katy etc... We just need to give them a sign, that there's no need to have a war, listen to both artists' music, but support your idol. I think we should record a video of the following format: 1) Each of us records a small video of himself saying something good towards other artists at the same time showing a paws up sign 2) Ask other people not to hate each other 3) say in the end "STOP THE DRAMA, START THE MUSIC" P.S. Would be very grateful if someone from Mods could pin this thread to make people see and have the opportunity to take part. Add you ideas, I just am really into making such a project. We must support Gaga's thoughts and ideas. She wants to get rid of fan wars, we will help her. WHO'S WITH ME!? If it works, then Gaga and Britney fans for video 2. We could kiss Madonna's butt all we like, but those diehand decades long M stans aren't gonna change.
