btw i haven't heard applause on the radio in ages.. meanwhile i hear roar, blurred lines, clarity, RANDOM NELLY SONGS, and Wild Ones constantly. -_-

I dont get why people want her to keep pushing Applause. if radio wont back it, she needs to let it go in America and perform it where it's doing okay.

true, i mean, she got what she wanted, VMA = exposure, so it can kind of just dwindle down now. because i mean, there's obvi gonna have to be a 2nd single out when the album comes out because applause will not keep the momentum pump until november.

I disagree. A piano ballad would not smash in the summer. And a song like Beyonce's "Standing on the Sun" wouldn't smash in the dead of winter.

The iTunes festival didn't do jack in the UK .

 

I do feel at least one more promo in the US could be good but if the radio isn't going to support it, there's not much to do.

 

And, like Arturo said, I think the iHeart Radio festival is tied to radio performance because my local station has been playing it 5 times a day and it isn't tied.
