They were both great producers and they both produced flawless songs for her, but she has to constantly change her sound in order to remain fresh and not sound dated. See - Katy Perry. No shade intended, though Katy never shows growth in production. Her productions aren't anything special either. I could have produced Roar by pounding my hand on my desk. BTW had all those amazing songs, not made by RedOne ( Government hooker, Bloody Mary, Heavy metal lover and Americano). She just needs to choose the best songs on the album as singles. There are plenty of controversial songs out there that have reached #1 on the charts. When I was listening to applause this morning I finally realized that the song won't connect with the GP. I LOVE the song but I was delusional for thinking it would easily smash.
