Come on people! Put it in a bigger perspective already! She isn't going to fail and she hasn't peaked yet. Mark my words.

Rude! lol.

I don't know. Does anyone even watch the VMAs anymore? it dropped 50% from 2011 to 2012. If it had the normal 12 million rating, and had a killer performance, the song could find it's way up the charts more. The song is great but the competition is too high. If this was released earlier this year, it would have killed the charts I'm sure.

The song is a grower. We shouldn't be glued to our screens worrying over something as unimportant as a dark red update. It's the bigger picture we have to look at, not the hourly updates.

But people just can't get that through their heads.

I'm already positive we will have a long enduring hit on our hands over the next few months. :whitney:

I don't think radio ever supported her?

Pop radio has supported 10 out of her first 12 singles, putting them into the Top 10.

She's never been HUGE on radio but she's had enough airplay to sustain sales once the song is high enough.

Listen to Arturo. Radio is the biggest driver of sales and the song still has tons of room to grow. Roar is looking like it will peak early from rising too fast, which is a bad thing. I'm glad it's looking like Applause won't have that problem :)

I don't get why Roar is slaying and Applause (Some say) is underperforming. I mean for me, I love to have them in the same playlist. They compliment each other to a certain degree.

Roar is slaying because it's exactly what the GP wants. Mid tempo, etc. Katy couldn't've have done a safer lead single choice.
