Gerrard174 695 Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 She rly needs to let it die in its own pace, we don't want another BTW killing Judas type of situation. that's pretty much what her team has been doing aka not doing anything. on one hand, if they put out a second single, it will definitely prematurely kill applause. on the other hand, they cant have applause dragging out too long cause it is not smashing hard to sell albums. Hence they cant further promote the song so basically now they are stucked. the wisest move is just to wait for it to peak on its own and then only put out a second single. any promo single now will kill applause for sure. it is THAT fragile tbh. so might as well wait until it dies. it will probably peak in two or three week. so mid october or beginning of nov new single Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sure, it's not what I was expecting from the song itself nor its chart performance, but it's amazing to see it doing well with minimal promo and small hype. I couldn't ask for more at the moment... well, maybe I should ask Interscope not to release the 2nd single until late next month. Also feeling amazing about Wrecking Ball's success. :clap: The performance on iHeart on Sunday will assure it another week at the top of iTunes - or that's what I'm hoping for :worship2: So excited for Madeon's productions on the album.
