craig 680
If she doesnt Billboard is the one who will look bad. It will be no different than Katy losing to Blurred Lines W1 despite massive sales. Katy will have almost 350k sales his week + massive radio and non-youtube streaming. Miley is nowhere on radio. Magoo 6
Well my estimate has WB selling 186K more than Roar this week. That sales difference is equivalent to about 120m AI of airplay. So that will wipe out most of Roar's airplay advantage. That then leaves it to Streaming, which given WB's immense Youtube views makes it getting Hot 100 #1 pretty much certain, unless of course Billboard change the rules... GagaMyBlood95 9,915
watch applause when about to pass WMU, another song passed it and applause still stay at #5 forever #4 or #

Slaylor Swift 0
Dr.Luke is probably going to have 2 songs in top 2 next week.
Magoo 6
Do you like the idea of Miley being #1 and slaying everyone? Given that Applause was heavily dragged due to its not selling as much as Roar, the consequence is that I want Roar to now do as badly as possible and am happy for any other song to beat it. I'll be particularly looking out for when Roar falls below Applause on itunes showing Applause's greater longevity - it is only a matter of time. Magoo 6
Dr.Luke is probably going to have 2 songs in top 2 next week. Dr Luke is brilliant at it. His key is to make songs that are quickly forgotten so that they can be replaced on the top of the charts by more songs that sound almost exactly the same. It's much more of a challenge to make songs that are distinct and will be long-remembered, which is what Gaga tries to do.

I think we all knew Roar will top iTunes/Billboard for a few weeks then start falling like a rock a la BTW, looks like we were right. Applause would still get dragged if it doesn't outsell Roar, though.
GagaMyBlood95 9,915
We are now in the middle of September, and Applause is still very popular, it has over 50 million views on youtube, top 5 on iTunes US, top 10 iTunes UK, top 5 iTunes WW! (Probably) Peaked at #4 on HOT 100, still in the top 10, in two weeks will be platinum in US.... Can't wait for second single to come out

craig 680
No one will hold in against Katy if Miley snatches #1 .. the haters will only crow about Gaga getting upstaged by 2 girls instead of 1. And Miley might become another radio threat.
