Americano 31,061
I didn't noticed she was #24 in the social 50 chart. Xtina and Adele are higher than her
Gerrard174 697
we should believe in gaga and her team in handling this era. for once in my life, i think interscope made a right decision to pull the plug on MTN. she was so hated by GP at that time. her brand could have damaged more if the era continued. now only i realize that it was a right decision although we missed a lot of single release opportunity
Americano 31,061
Ironic that Applause was slaying internationally while plunging in the US, and now it's Top 5 in the US and doing terribly internationally.

Xtina and Adele are higher than her thats why. more promo doesnt necessary help her this time around. unless.it is a really good promo. AMA would be a good spot, or X factor
Oyemiamor 40
What an awful idea. She's going to have literally NO momentum in so many HUGE markets by the time the album comes out. That'll lead to embarrassing debut numbers. The second single needs to do better than this. There is a long time before album release, promoting now internationally would be stupid. I bet she does it closer to release which would be smart.

Americano 31,061
Yet despite realizing promo literally saved Applause in the US, they've not done anything for her other big countries..

Focus on second single and album promo together in november
Americano 31,061
Maybe many international radio will follow the US if Applause keeps rising here

Focus on second single and album promo together in november But it DOES click, that's why it's taking off in the US. If it didn't, it'd be tanking. The lack of promo is the issue. She's not Katy, she's not coming off a huge album cycle like TFM anymore. She cant just expect it to sell itself.
