The song is used in ESPN matches, kia commercial and performed on GMA the effect is slowly wearing off. not surprise at all. that's very normal. It is not like applause is getting 10 consecutive dark red updates and on the verge of dropping out of top10. Applause is staying pretty steady at #5 despite some very minor red updates. correct. the gap between berzerk and applause is still there. it is just that the gap appears smaller due to #1 song increasing a lot over other songs. I think the reason she used to sell well is because of the shock factor of everything she did and how big it was. Now I feel like everything she does is becoming underwhelming because she has set the bar too high for herself. It almost feels like she's not trying anymore and that's why it's not doing that well. I think if she came to the VMA red carpet wearing that cool bubble dress and did some outfit changes during the night Applause might of been selling better.
