Klou 2,414
I'm starting to doubt the size of her fanbase after Applause's debut week. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if ARTPOP debuts in the 300K range.

craig 680
I'm starting to doubt the size of her fanbase after Applause's debut week. The proof will be in 1st week album sales. Releasing a week before your self-publicized date, in mid-summer, with no video or tv promo, is a great way to stunt 1st week sales.
Marco 731
I really hope she releases a promo single when Applause starts to die.
Klou 2,414
KWORB is back. Gaga staying white, which is good. Remember that the main reason she's losing % is due to Lorde rising, not Applause falling.
chris777 112
But the thing that the others have over her is longevity. She still #2 and gets dark green updates. And it'll be top 3 for at least 2 weeks more. Not bad

I feel like no matter what gaga released as the first single was going to be an uphill battle.
craig 680
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if ARTPOP debuts in the 300K range. I'm more optimistic, because there was plenty of backlash before May 2011, and BTW wasn't a fillerfest hyped on the back of a couple of great singles. So I don't think a lot of people bought it and felt cheated. People like Drake and Lil Wayne don't need contstant hype or monster lead singles to sell albums. It seems once you're an album seller, if you're fans are satisfied, they keep buying.

BTW had major hype and probably would have done 900K+ first week if it had a full week of sales. However, I honestly thought that at least 400K monsters would buy the song first week. She may not have hyped it up, but those following on Twitter or her music in general should have been aware of it. Then again I just tell myself she's an albums artist and most of her fans want all songs at the same time. :)

TylerMedeiros 834
By GAGA not being #1 her song isn't being overplayed..she's trying to win back the GP (or perhaps interscope rather) this is good. Let the next song SLAY even more.. RELAX FANBASE RELAX Nearly every person I talk to is going, "wait till her album sales" "i love her new song applause" "i was starting to think, where's Gaga? She's been gone for like three years!" "Glad she's not weird anymore wonder how her new album is going to be" Am I getting my point across? I wish people weren't so negative, i know how hard it is to be pessimistic but she's doing fine we need to relax. Just because she isn't number one doesn't mean people still don't think of her as, LADY GAGA, being one of the most well-known celebrities. She is a house name, we can settle. She'll be fine YEET
