She'll never have the same amount of fans she had the second before the BTW single dropped but doesn't mean she can't still have a healthy sized stan base. I have so many tell me that "Hey, Lady Gaga's new song is awesome". My brother even told me that its EASILY in his top 5 favorite songs of hers ever. And he listens to Rap hahaha. He loves applause. He was praising her VMA performance a lot. She is slowly gaining people back that she had lost. I think that Applause is just the beginning. But usually writing credits are in order of contribution to the song, so Britney being second on the list could mean that she had a significant amount of lyrical input.
