Guys remember that Someone Like You rose from being around #15 to #1 on iTunes after the VMA performance.

Same thing with the Brit awards... it was that one performance of SLY that made it SMASH over here... and when I say smash, I mean DEMOLISH, it was the biggest selling single over here for that year.

I hope Applause is in that Kia commercial :excited: Would do wonders for sales.

Thou shalt not doubt the Gaga when she says Applause promo has yet to begin.

It's so weird, and I never understood it, but commercials with even small snippets DO WORK most of the time :deadbanana:

There was a band called the Noisettes over here and they benefited TREMENDOUSLY from having their song on a car commerical, their song stuck around the top ten for ages. This is AMAZING promo!

Very good, and unexpected promo.  If the last 30 second of it plays on TV then I think it will be effective.

A biiiiiiit sellout-ish but whatever.

**** yes, Applause in a commercial. And car commercials are played all the time on tons of different channels. Interscope has really been stepping up the plate lately. They really want this single to do well, and so does Gaga, and I'm really glad for that.

If thats the case, Gaga sold out two years ago when TEOG was featured in the Google Chrome commercial. And I really believe that is what helped the song so much (lord knows it wasn't the video).

Scream and Shout went into the top 10 on iTunes after the commercial for Beats premiered. I think it was one of the driving factors in the song's longevity.

It should help Applause quite a lot, yes.

Plus, a lot of people love the Kia commercials since they're comical so I think Applause will intrigue people even more.
