This has nothing to do with a radio deal (which was already used on Monday). we are being positive. it will get more airplay monday. the confusion will be cleared. yes they are playing it, but it will be added to the radio play monday, do you know how radio works? they can play a song, but that doesn't mean it's on the list of the songs they play daily. it can be like for example, roar, blurred lines, clarity, same love, get lucky, etc, etc, etc, and they play that list over and over again. applause isn't added, but some times if it gets enouugh request they will play it. but monday it will be added to the list the play over and over again Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some radio stations have already added it. Heres the thing though guys, Gaga is not going to get the same radio attention Katy Perry is getting. Shes just not. And not to mention, Roar would have further strengthened its momentum in radio by that time - regardless if the audience impressions for Applause zoom up. Just because Gaga released the single doesn't mean it was automatically sent to radio. Even with the deal already done. Let me explain. Radio has a list of songs they will play every day, these are the songs that have been added to radio. The list right now seems to be Blurred Lines, Get Lucky, We Can't Stop, Clarity, American Girl, Right Now, Radioactive, Holy Grail, etc, etc, etc. They will play the list over and over again daily. If a song gets enough requests they will play it somewhere in between that list, but when the song gets ADDED to radio and IMPACTS radio it will be on that list they play daily, over and over again. I am not against being positive, but I just don't want fans to have expectations only to be disappointed. I just checked the top 5 radio stations in the country and all five of them have added Applause to their playlist already. but what about the smaller stations? more people listen to the smaller stations because there is more smaller stations. it has not been added to those smaller stations and once it does it'll be easier for the gp to catch on Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
