Now honestly I want all her singles to flop so she can sit down on her ass and write some good songs with good lyrics!! Sorry gags. Why are you still on this forum? Aren't there better things to do than to be on a forum for an artist whose last album you hated and newest single you hate and think has "bad lyrics" when you stan for Poker Face. She's not here to slay and destroy everything, I think ARTPOP era is about fun, enjoying yourself and just let the music talk. Carefree, fun, light. She'll be electro-hippie. Her fashion, theatricss, and the whole futuristic image of Lady Gaga. This + carchy pop song(applause) is what Gaga needs to be at the top game. Now remember, has Gaga had to time to brand herself before the release of applause? Jimmy Iovine was the one who told her to make Applause the lead single. It wasn't even supposed to be on the album, but the accident and all... So really, it was her putting her commercial success before her artistry. Do you think she was aiming for commercial success when she debuted an electronica/dance-pop album in August 2008? It took her months to make people listen to her; she's always chosen to make the kinds of songs she wants to make. If you want an artist to just make a song for the sake of being commercial I hear Exhale are recruiting members. Honestly, I do love Britney.
