With ARTPOP, she wants to come back for those weaves like she did during The Fame and The Fame Monster, hence why she brought up those two era specifically. Which leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. The way she talked about it from when it was hinted at till after MtN, it felt nice and sincere that she was really proud of her work. She totally MIMICS every part of herself Definitely. Marina clearly had and is still having a big big influence over ARTPOP.
