But we know for sure that Gaga's name alone does not sell anymore. There is logic that can be used to make it seem like any song should or shouldn't do well. People could easily have said that LoveGame not going #1 was a clear sign that her popularity was declining because it was following the success of two smash hits and therefore should have done better. We have people on here saying, "Well, Gaga's following-up a polarizing era and a floppy last single, so #6 (or whatever) is good!!" while other people saying, "It's the lead single. Anything under #1 is bad!" It just depends how you spin it. Either way, neither group really knows how this song will ultimately perform and whether or not the public still embraces Gaga. Applause is going to be #1 all the world after the video released, Stop with the negative energies. but then why are radios playing it to death already?
