Little Monsters' unusual reaction to the leaks

I like this reaction.  I will not listen until the official release.  We should keep reporting the leaks.

I live outside the space time continuum.

I guess it's unusual but idk I think it's pretty cool. Agree with the post that says it proves the kind of 'power' Gaga can have.

omg

You have strength  :giggle:

The second it leaks in full HQ I'm listening. I'm just not here for snippets or low quality :rip:

It looks like hero worship to me or a cult. It's ridiculous!

I don't find the reaction unusual. GaGa didn't want it to leak, so the Monsters were doing their job. I don't want to hear anymore, so it's good that they're being taken down. :)

Geez! Maybe I was wrong

Idk how you guys do it

I wasn't expecting to hear Applause I until the 19th anyway so it isn't that hard waiting. I just don't want to ruin the experience of hearing the whole song and the seeing the video at once. :)

We still get the video that day and I am sure that there are more surprises. I'm here for the music and I was happy to get a taste of what we are in for, with all of the leaks, both songs.

Well, it does certainly prove the sway that Gaga can sometimes command over certain segments of her fandom. But I certainly don't think that makes them "real" monsters and the leak-listeners not.

From an artist's perspective, I absolutely understand the frustration here. You don't want your work presented to the public in any way other than the one you've specifically planned. You want it to be seen and viewed and understood in a specific context.

But, especially with music, that's simply an impossibility today. Leaks have practically become de rigueur. They aren't an unpleasant anomaly, they are an inevitability. So, as the artist, you do what you can to mitigate them, but you also have to be prepared for when it does happen.

As for the fans, as long as they pay for their copy when it's made legally available, they're as much "monsters" as anybody else. If you're spending your hard-earned money to support an artist, nobody has the right to tell you you're not a real fan.

Not listening to leaked song doesn't make you a better monster or a real one. I think that everyone (including Gaga and Interscope) knows that once something leaked you can't remove it completely from the Internet.

+ all the leaks are their fault. They should've protected Applause as they protected Born This Way.

Yeah, because Judas didn't leak in advance or anything...

However, I quite honestly think they should just put that **** out.

Wasted efforts.
